Helping Hands provides the following services:

FOOD PANTRY:  Food Pantry services are provided to qualifying families year-round on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between the hours of 9-11:30* and 1-2:30* 

 (* must sign in 15 minutes prior in order to shop that day)

NOTE: HHN is closed when SV Local is closed due to weather.  We are also closed the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas-New Years- see Pantry personnel for specific dates.

CLOTHING: Gently used clothing is available to anyone during regular business hours and the third Saturday of the month 10-12 noon.

EASTER CANDY: Our community provides Easter candy for our families.  Candy is offered first come first serve close to the holiday.  See notices at the center for details.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:  Our community provides school supplies for our families with school age children.  We partner with Sandy Valley schools to distribute the supplies during their Back-to-School-Bash held in August prior to the start of the school year.

COATS FOR CHILDREN: HHN partners with Bridgepoint and the Canton South Rotary Club to provide coats for children.  Sign up for this service is typically in September.  See Pantry personnel for more information. 

CHRISTMAS GIFTS: Our community provides presents for our families with children.  Sign up to receive a gift occurs each October and gifts are ready for pick up in early December.  See Pantry personnel for exact dates and times.
